Bronx Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden, located at Bronx, New York City is a museum of living plants. Different styled gardens were constructed here to highlight different kinds of exotic plants. If you're a lover of nature, this is a real paradise surrounded by flowers and unique plants from different countries, which you could find here. Aside from flowering herbs and shrubs, you could find also a forest here, where the Bronx River runs. There's an area here for plant research, where DNA of plants are extracted and scientifically recorded for different studies.

Flat Iron Building

The Cathedral of St. Patrick is a Roman Catholic church located at 5th Avenue, between 50th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan (New York City). It is a stone-throw away from the Rockefeller Center and the 5th Avenue Saks Department Store. It is the official residence of the Archdiocese of New York. It is a dominantly attractive building in Midtown Manhattan, because of its Gothic designs from its outside and inside looks.

Radio City Music Hall

The picture shown above was taken by me at the foot of the Trump International Hotel near Columbus Circle and Central Park. The most prominent landmark from this place is the Columbus Circle, which is the "zero point" start of streets and highways in New York City. Meaning, if the highway billboard says 35 miles to New York City, the billboard conveys that it is 35 miles away from this Columbus Circle. At the center of this circle stands the monument of Christopher Columbus, the explorer, who discovered America.

Sheep Meadow of Central Park

The Sheep Meadow of Central Park is a favorite spot for sunbathers, family picnics and kite players. It is sometimes a spot for big rallies, demonstrations, and concerts. It is located at the Western side of the Central Park, occupying 66th to 69th Streets of Manhattan (New York City). The forest areas, lakes, and the big boulders you will find at Central Park, were man-made designs, maintained by hundreds of park personnel on daily basis.

Metropolitan Museum of Arts

The sculpture shown above is just one of the thousands of items displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts, located at Museum Mile. This museum is one of the largest museums of United States of America. The place has an extensive collection of classic and modern arts of America. Its main building houses the largest gallery of arts in the world. It has collection of paintings, sculptures, musical instruments, national costumes, ancient weapons, and several other forms of arts.

One World Trade Center

The Rockefeller Center is located at the heart of Midtown, New York City. Here you will find high-rise buildings where stores of signature brands and large corporate headquarters are located. The Rockefeller Center occupies the 5th and 6th Avenues, from 48th to 51st Streets. At the center of this complex, you will find the famous skating rink, where Prometehus statue (God of Fire) stands at the background. This is the busiest place of New York City every Christmas season. The giant Christmas tree is its main attraction every Christmas. Around here, you will find also the Diamond District, where the most expensive diamonds and jewelries are sold.

City Hall Fountain

The City Hall of New York City is located at Downtown Manhattan. The beautiful fountain you'll see above was taken at the City Hall compound, from the entrace facing Broadway Avenue. The building is the seat of government for the city of New York. It houses the Office of the Mayor and the chambers of New York City Council. A block away from this compound is the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. From around here, we could find the Woolworth Building, One Police Plaza, St. Paul's Chapel, and One World Trade Center a few blocks away.
